Biography

Jessica Russell is a Nova Scotia based artist, hailing from the charming town of Chester. Her love and passion for country music has taken her coast to coast on a Canadian tour from Nova Scotia, all the way to Whitehorse, Yukon, captivating audiences with her authentic and heartfelt performances.  Singing since she could talk; Jessica has been making the rounds in her music career, opening for names like Aaron Goodvin, The Washboard Union, and Emerson Drive at their Nova Scotia concerts. 


With her latest release of the catchy single “Pause On Over”, she has garnered attention from various radio stations across the country. Her live shows are an experience that transport the audience to the vibrant East Coast, while also showcasing the raw talent and charisma that make her a standout artist. Mesmerizing as an opener and electrifying as a headliner, Jessica's music is a true representation of her dedication and love for country music.

Jessica came 1st place in the Road to the Stage Singing Competition at the South Shore Exhibition, where she went on to open for headliner Aaron Goodvin.
